Would you like to deposit notes at an ATM? This is possible if you are an ABN Amro, ASN Bank, ING, Rabobank or SNS customer. Your bank determines the maximum amount, the conditions and any costs.

Use the locator to find the nearest ATM where you can deposit notes. You can filter for ATMs that are indoors and/or have voice support.

Limits

If you want to deposit money, you may have to deal with limits. These may be limits set by your bank; so check the conditions on your bank's website. Our ATMs only accept euro notes. An ATM can handle a maximum of 200 notes at a time. If you want to deposit more notes, spread them over more deposits.

During a transaction, it may happen that a deposit gets stuck. In that case, you will see a notification of this on the screen. If your money is jammed in the process, contact your bank.

There are times when an ATM is out of order. This can have various causes. Often an ATM is available again after one or a few days, sometimes it takes longer.

Most common situation is that the ATM is empty. Cash withdrawals have peaks and troughs. A peak can occur locally, for instance, when there is an event such as a funfair or fair. Nationwide, peaks can occur during holidays with many events (King's Day), at times when holiday money, salary or benefits are paid out and in periods/areas with a lot of tourism. Obviously, Geldmaat and its cash transporter make every effort to minimise the impact of peaks.

On our locatiewijzer we indicate whether an ATM is available.
