Coins

Want to withdraw or deposit euro coins? You can do this at many of our Geldmaat stores and DIY stores of Gamma and Karwei.

Whether you can use our coin machines varies from bank to bank, so check your bank's terms and conditions first. There you will also see what the fees are for withdrawing and depositing coins. You can deposit as many coins as you like, but keep in mind that a coin machine can process about 900 coins at a time.

Withdraw coins

If you withdraw coins from one of our coin machines, you will receive your money in coin rolls. You always need your bank debit card to withdraw coins. The amount is directly debited from your account. If you withdraw more than 10 rolls, you must first empty the issue drawer before new rolls are issued. Always check if you have removed all rolls.

A coin machine contains rolls with coins of 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents, 50 cents, 1 euro and 2 euro. Each coin value has a fixed amount of coins per roll:

  • 50 x 5 cent (2,50 euro)
  • 40 x 10 cent (4 euro)
  • 40 x 20 cent (8 euro)
  • 40 x 50 cent (20 euro)
  • 25 x 1 euro (25 euro)
  • 25 x 2 euro (50 euro)
