Geldmaat ensures that cash in the Netherlands remains available and accessible for those who want or need to use it. In doing so, we pay extra attention to people in a vulnerable position.
Geldmaat has ATMs in the Netherlands for withdrawing and depositing notes, and withdrawing and depositing coins. There are also Sealbag machines for businesses who want to deposite notes. Cardholders of almost every bank in the Netherlands and worldwide can withdraw euro notes from the ATMs. Depositing notes and coins is possible if offered by the customer's bank.
History
Geldmaat took over the ATMs for notes and coins from ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank in 2019. The ATMs were given a new name, a new look and all the same software.
Executive board
Geldmaat is being managed by the Executive Board. They are supervised and advised by the Supervisory Board. Geldmaat has three shareholders; ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank. They are the legal owners of the company. Geldmaat has about 300 employees.
